After all these years
My thoughts still turn to you
When I find myself
Not knowing what to do.

Like a child lost
In wonderland,
I still search
For your hand.

If I close my eyes,
I can almost feel you here.
In my heart I know
That you're still near.

So many nights
I see you in my dreams.
You watch but never speak,
And I'm not sure what that means.

At times I feel you're telling me
To let go of what is past,
But I’m afraid if I let go
Your memory won’t last.

In my mind I see you smile
And my heart hears a melody.
An old familiar song
That you used to sing to me.

I miss you more each year
And my love for you just grows.
Without you, part of me has also died
A part that no one really knows.
