"Children in a family are like flowers in a bouquet: there's always one
determined to face in an opposite direction from the way the arranger desires

Why did I do
All the crazy things I did
When I was just a kid?

Why did I try
To break all the rules
And drive the nuns all nuts
When I was in school?

And only Heaven knows
Why I thought my life was bad.
Now when I think about it
I can see how good a life I had.

It's not easy growing up,
I wouldn't want to go back again.
It seemed to take forever
Until I let the past end.

I’ve learned to let things go
And I can finally take stock
And thank God for my life now
And everything I've got.

I've found peace within myself
I'm content with circumstances.
I've learned from my mistakes
And the times I took some chances.

My past has made me who I am right now
...The one you know today.
Looking back upon my life
I wouldn't want it any other way.

Why did I
Do the things I did?
I guess I'll never know,
After all.....I was just a kid.

I don't know why I enjoyed it,
and I don't know why I'll do it again
