The great wall of China
Is not on my list to see.
There's so many other places
That i'd rather be.
I've never been to Ireland,
A place I long to see.
I've never been to Hawaii,
Now....there's a place for me!
I've never seen the Grand Canyon
Nor Niagra's Mystic Falls.
Darn...Now that I think about it,
I've hardly been any place at all.
Don't go feeling bad for me,
I've traveled in my daydreams.
Enchanted forests in far off lands
Are places that I've been......
I've spent time in paradise
On an island in the sea.
And drifted through the stardust
Beyond the galaxy.
I've ventured to the future
And visited the past.
I've been to a few strange places
I was glad to leave at last.
There's nothing I like more
Than listening to beautiful music,
And reading a good book too.
What a lovely way to spend an evening
Traveling through a fantasy or two.
No.... I haven't packed my bags
And crossed the deep blue sea
But I've expanded my horizons and
... That's good enough for me.
